Salut,

QUOTE
Both Glaceol Type D and Type E are developed and manufactured by ARTECO in Belgium, a joint venture between Chevron and TotalEnergies. Type D is formulated with 100% Organic Acid Technology (OAT), while Type E is a lobrid P-OAT coolant that includes a small amount of phosphates. The newer common specification (41-01-001 – V or the RNES-B-00014 v2.1) has been developed to meet the dual requirements of Renault and Nissan. Notably, Type E is backward compatible with Type D, except for B4A and B4D engines.

It is important to note that coolants approved under G12+ specifications — which are genuinely approved, not merely claimed — can be filled in Renault engines. This compatibility arises because they share the same organic acid technology additive package. However, the superconcentrate used to manufacture G12+ approved coolants contains 25% corrosion inhibitors by volume, whereas Renault Type D contains 44.4% corrosion inhibitors by volume. Consequently, while using G12+ coolants in older Renault engines may not cause immediate harm, there could potentially be long-term detrimental effects. This suggests that there are technical reasons why Renault engines require almost twice the amount of corrosion inhibitors. For the newer Type E you could add about 8% extra phosphates in comparison to Type D.

Unapproved coolants could possibly use even less then required amount of inhibitors in order to cut costs.

The "environmentally friendly" G13 was replaced by the newer spec G12 Evo, which uses monoethylene glycol only.

Are cineva curaj să puna asa diluat, in conditiile in care putem avea temperaturi de minus 25?
